Acknowledgment

Well hello everyone. Thanks for visiting my site and thanks to my cousin, Neight for setting it up!

It's been a hectic three months since releasing my first CD into the world. I never realized how much work would be involved and how tough it is to put so much of yourself out there.

Heading into the studio was a growing experience, to say the least. Cudos to Rick Anderson for pushing me, for coaching me and just being patient (and helping me to be patient). Quite simply, the recording and production would not have happened without his support and technical prowess. And to all the great musicians on the CD...and how much they added, the layers, the emotion brought out in a 30 second guitar lead by Joe or a string arrangement by Kiki and Alex. Let's not forget all the colourful keys by Rick and of course, Carly on Rebecca Fay. It was so much work, but I am so proud of the end result and how it really came to life! Thanks again to everyone involved.

There were many times when I was ready to give up, especially only being able to book sessions maybe once a week for 4-5 hours at a time. Rick & I, both had/have "day jobs" so that made the recording process painstakingly pragmatic...kind of like a "paint by numbers", remember those? But once again I was encouraged by my daughter's triumph in earning her Black Belt in Karate. She had to go through four grueling tests over a four month period this past winter/spring. I can't say enough about the inspriation and joy she has brought to my life. I'm so proud of her!!
